BEAR'S MEMORIAL AWARD

Presented annually to a team who demonstrates sportsmanship, teamwork, and a dedication to the sport of Barn Hunt at Prairie Dog Sports.

How it works – Prairie Dog Sports will accept nominations for the award starting at the first Barn Hunt trial of the calendar year (usually February/March) and be open until September 15th of the same calendar year.

Finalists will be chosen by the Prairie Dog Sports team, between September 15th- September 30th. Finalists will be posted to our website and social media platforms to be voted on by the public.

Given the spirit of the award voting will be monitored by Prairie Dog Sports to ensure sportsmanship and integrity are present.

Voting will be open from October 1st – October 31st of the same calendar year. Once the voting window is closed, votes will be tabulated by the Prairie Dog Sports team and the winner will be announced via our website and social media platforms.

In the event of a tie, the PDS Team will choose the winner. The award and prize will be presented at the final Barn Hunt trial of the calendar year (typically November).

Who can be nominated and what is required? Anyone can be nominated if you feel they meet the spirit of this award based on the criteria of sportsmanship, teamwork, and dedication to the sport of Barn Hunt at Prairie Dog Sports.

This award is specific to the sport of Barn Hunt at Prairie Dog Sports only, contributions to other sports or clubs will not be considered in the choosing of finalists or winners.
