Melissa Forsythe has been competing in dog sports for approximately 17yrs.
She started participating in flyball in 2005 with her border collie Samwhich; he retired from the sport with over 50,000pts.
They also competed in disc and in 2009 attended the Skyhoundz World Championship. Melissa now has a 7yr old sport mix named Shark Bite who is active in many sports.
In 2017 they started training in Barnhunt, in 2020 they took to the dock and started competing in dock diving. Shark and Melissa also enjoy bikejoring in the summer and sleeping in in the mornings.
They both look forward to the many events Prairie Dog Sports has to offer!
Melissa is excited to start teaching flyball classes at PDS, and sharing her love for the sport!
