Brooklyn flowers

Brooklyn has always had a strong connection with animals and have always been fascinated by their behaviors.

She got her start in the dog world as a young adolescent when she joined her local canine 4-H club, where she learned very basic handling and training. She was hooked immediately and wanted more, she started showing dogs in conformation classes and started basic agility and scent detection with her own dog.

While attending college she worked at a dog boarding and daycare facility, gaining experience handling a multitude of different dogs and learned how they communicate as a pack.

In 2019, Brooklyn got involved in animal rescue and worked alongside a couple great trainers, this is where she fell in love with helping humans and dogs communicate to each other and live in harmony.

In 2018, Brooklyn attended a Barn Hunt introduction at Prairie Dog Sports and instantly fell in love with the sport!

Since then she has competed in numerous PDS Barn Hunt trials with her two dogs and both have achieved their master titles.

Over the years PDS introduced Brooklyn and her dogs to many other sports such as dock diving and disc.

Having gained experience in many different aspects of the dog world has allowed her to become a more well-rounded handler.

Under the PDS umbrella, she is now able to share her experience and knowledge with many.

In 2023 Brooklyn became a barnhunt judge and we are very excited to have her judging some of our future events and watching where the sport takes her.
