Guest Agility Instructor

Carol Tovell is an experienced agility handler who has been doing agility for 18 years.
She started agility to have fun with her dog and has continued to remain committed to having fun whether doing or teaching agility.
Carol has trained and competed with multiple dogs, both large and small. All of her dogs have placed well at local competitions as well as in the US, and at AAC Regionals and Nationals.
In addition to AAC (Agility Association of Canada), Carol has also competed in NADAC (North American Dog Agility Council), CKC (Canada Kennel Club) and UKI (United Kingdom International) agility.
Carol is well versed in both foundational skills and advanced handler skills.
As a veteran teacher, she is able to adapt each skill to meet the needs of both the handler and each individual dog. Carol's agility training focuses on the importance of connection, relationship and engagement with your dog.
Having worked with "non-traditional" agility dog breeds, Carol enjoys the challenge of bringing out the best in each dog!
Carol is also a canine fitness trainer with her CPCFT certification (Certified Professional Canine Fitness Trainer).
