This is a fun event designed to help dogs and handlers gain experience in an agility trial-like setting without the pressure of a competition. Perfect for agility teams who are ready to start trialing or for experienced agility teams who just want to come out and have fun!
You may reward in the ring with toys or with food as long as it is in a closed container.
Handlers can run the course as numbered, do a small part of the course, or make up your own path during their 90 second turns in the ring. The cost is $30 per dog payable at time of registration.
Our fun match can only accommodate 30 dogs with 3 runs per dog, so enter early before it fills up!!!
FYI Our agility ring is 75' by 90' and is fully fenced with an entrance gate and an exit gate.
We will be using Galican equipment on a sand surface with the following AAC jump heights: 4", 8", 12", 16", 20" and 24".
The A-frame will be kept at the select height throughout the fun match.
Please be prepared to bench your dogs from your vehicle between runs.
*Everyone signed up is expected to help out with jobs like pole-setting, timing, gate-stewarding etc. just like at a trial.*
